HCISOHCSE Violin I Violas

Tagboard

Monday, August 04, 2008

Well, Chay Choong did that to the violas, so it makes perfect sense for me to do something similar.. RIGHT?

Okay I know it's rather pointless for me to post here since there are SO MANY readers, but nevermind. In any case, this, if I'm not mistaken, is the new cello blog for HCISO.

Well, first off, good luck mugging for everything. As in everything cello-related. Because you will be missing your imba ex-SL and ex-ASL. (In case you haven't noticed I'm refraining from using YEAM-ba) First and foremost, Run Xian/神 has, as far as I know, Malay lessons every Tuesday. While I don't know if it would continue up to when he's Sec 4, this means, however, that one of you people will absolutely have to sit at first desk. Which, at least personally, totally sucks. While I myself think that either Sean or Edward will be at first desk when Run Xian's not around, you can always push slackers (e.g. Keith or Ryan) to the front to get disgraced and in turn disgrace yourselves. And possibly be made to stay back later because of sectionals.

I cannot deny that your results are more important than this crap. However, I'm not asking you to mug/drill as much as Run Xian, but at the very least be able to play something. Seriously.

And those at the back, especially Kai Wen and Sean and anyone else, please, please don't make a fool of yourselves. By chatting openly or something. At least do it more discreetly.

And now for a few personal comments =)

Run Xian: At least for me you are perfect in your playing... but in the meantime please help with training their sight-reading because they suck at it. (actually me too but who cares now) And it wouldn't hurt much to be a bit fiercer. Like for this point you can learn from Steven.

Steven: Please play louder.. and take more initiative. You are, after all, cello section ASL.

Edward: When you do stuff like yawn in concerts please do it more discreetly. For instance, during our last concert you yawned, and from the corner of my eye I could even see you.. Let alone the audience >.<

Nicholas: PLEASE don't open your mouth when playing. It seriously makes you look like a genuine retard. As in seriously. And by the way, try to lose some weight. (in case you haven't noticed, I'm trying my best not to call you retard, retard. Oops I just said it! xP )

Eng Kiat: You seriously need to mug more. You have a lot to catch up on.

Keith: Same as Eng Kiat. If you could transfer, like, 20% of your love for soccer and all that crap to mugging (both academically and musically) it would be perfect.

Kai Wen: Don't act like a baby. Grow up and be less irritating. And continue mugging cello.

Titus: You are, from my personal point of view, the most promising Sec 1 I have ever seen ever since Run Xian. Jiayou and mug more.

Ryan: According to Mr Chan (Wei Shing), you are apparently v-e-r-y lazy in mugging cello. Please buck up.

Sec 1s in general: Please don't bunch up in your exclusive groups and alienate the rest of the people. Socialize more (even though I think the word is unsuitable in this context) and play less handphone games. If there is an unsatisfiable urge to do so, then do it when you're on the bus or in class.

I guess some of you might ask why I'm so enthu when I don't give much of a damm for the orch. Well to be honest I absolutely HATED it once. But you know what they say? "One man's food is another's poison" (or something along these lines) True, once orch was absolutely fun for some and it was my poison. But your body develops immune systems for it in time and you get accustomed to it. And in Chinese, "日久生情".. I guess that's pretty self-explanatory.

In any case, I think it's time for me to pass user rights of this blog to the new SL and ASL... you can get a publications exclusively for cello section if you want though.

Cheers, and jiayou mugging

Aaron

P.S. Sorry for dumping this dead blog to you people.. (but it's because you didn't visit that made it dead in the first place though..) Basically you are free to create a new one if you want, but please inform us seniors of the new URL.. thanks =)
